Please be advised that Highways England will be undertaking work on the A5 at the Litchborough/ Bugbrooke junctions to repair existing drainage and install a new section of filter drain in the west verge to alleviate ground water issues in the west verge. Weedon Bec Parish Council is currently working with specialist lawyers and is in the midst of formal negotiation with the MOD. This matter is protected by legal privilege to optimise the best outcome for the residents of the village.

A local resident has advised that there have been notes put through the door today, Sunday 15th January, advising of a burglary down Riverside Drive between Saturday 14th evening and Sunday 15th lunchtime. Please be cautious and advise people of suspicious people hanging around

Scrutiny of our draft Neighbourhood Plan by the Government Examiner started a couple of weeks before Christmas. Since the appointment in September the Examiner suffered a family bereavement and so made a late start.
