Cllr Zoe O'Toole
I moved to Weedon in 2003 with my now husband Paul. We chose Weedon because we wanted to live in a small community with great facilities where we could have a family and be happy. I can safely say that 12 years later we still feel that Weedon fits that brief. My daughter is in her last year at Weedon Bec Primary, she has just finished 3 happy years at Weedon brownies and enjoys Messy Church. I have been a School Governor for four years and have supported a number of village activities. My husband runs his business locally and life is good. We have good neighbours that put up with our pets and we have no desire to leave the village.
I decided to join the Parish Council to continue giving back to the local community which has become my home. Being from a military family, I have moved around the country and Europe many times. Weedon is the longest I have lived anywhere; it really does feel like home. Professionally I have worked in project management for much of my working career and therefore hope that I can use some of the skills from that background to benefit the council.
