Weedon's Entry into Northamptonshire Best Village Competition 2018

The Parish Council is co-ordinating Weedon's entry into the Northamptonshire Best Village Competition 2018. The competition is judged on community involvement, initiative and pride. As we talked to residents and collected all the information about our village, we were constantly reminded how much Weedon delivers to us all.

The competition entry is split into two parts – a written entry form and the judges visit. We have submitted the form and now we are preparing for the visit in May and this is where we need your help.

We want to showcase our village by creating photo montage boards of all the village activities to show the judges. If you run a group or are involved in an activity, can you please email photos or flyers to weedonbecpc@btinternet.com so we can include them on these boards.

We would like to say a very BIG thank you to all the people who have sent us information and photographs so far.

After the judges visit, we'll put our completed form on the Parish Council website. In the meantime, if you would like more information about the competition or would like to help us prepare for the judges visit, please contact Sue Halkett on 341057.
