STOP PRESS - New Street Development


Daventry District Council has confirmed that they have received written confirmation from Gladman Developments who have asked the Planning Inspectorate to withdraw the appeal that arose from the 2014 outline planning application (albeit confirmation is still waited from the Planning Inspectorate). Gladman has also withdrawn the duplicate outline planning application for the New Street site which they had submitted in 2015.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Weedon Village Hall is a Registered Charity and it is managed by a volunteer Management Committee and board of Trustees. This unpaid band of enthusiastic folk have made Weedon Village Hall into one of the best Community venues in the county. This is evidenced by the usually full booking register!

I am delighted to at last share the news with you that, after extensive and prolonged discussion, Weedon Bec Parish Council and the MoD reached an agreement regarding the issues at the Mound in Jubilee Field late Monday, November 6th, 2017.
